Here we have 2 DEADSTOCK No.2 STANDARD's (14.5 oz Sanforized denim) in the 2504 cut (made pre-Levi Strauss lawsuit). Notice how the red tabs are almost identical to LEVIS apart from the gap which is missing the L. These pre-EVISU jeans have a couple of interesting features including both the fishing (EVIS Genes Crafted With Pride in Osaka Japan) and the bull (Private Stock by StyleCraft All Hand Made in Japan) leather patches and also the cinch back buckle, unique to the 2504 cut which allows the wearer to tighten the waist area without the use of a belt (common among the pre WWII model jeans). Both of these have hand painted white gulls and 2 different selvage lines denoting the different batches (the indigo colour is also slightly different).
