Trip to Japan Tokyo / Osaka

I recently spent a few weeks in Japan, first staying in Ginza Tokyo then catching the Shinkansen (bullet-train) to Osaka for 5 days. The best experience was shopping at the 'EVISU THE TOKYO' store. The gentleman serving me was extremely polite and accommodating and it was good to talk shop with a fellow denim enthusiast. Tried on a few models (Lot 2005 and 2000T) but in the end came away with 2 pairs of the tried and true '66 cut lot 2000. To mark my trip I decided to get my gulls painted in the stores own colour 'TOKYO BLUE'.

Nudie Grim Tim Dry Shiga Selvage

These arrived at my door from Sweden. 11oz lightweight denim, just in time for summer. Limited run, seems to be GREEN-CAST denim in the Grim Tim cut. First pair of Nudies for me so excited to see how they pan out and hold up against Japanese denim. I sized up 1 trying to manipulate the cut as much as possible. Not generally a fan of skinny jeans so wanted as much leg room as possible. Am a natural size 29-30 so went for a size 31W32L. The waist is probably perfect right now, of course will stretch a little so a belt will come in handy and also happy with the leg. Now to rock for summer and see how they fade...
